New H-E-B plus! coming to Waco this fall

WACO, TX (KXXV) -

H-E-B announced Friday afternoon that they plan on opening a brand new H-E-B plus! store in Waco this fall. The H-E-B plus! will be located in the 1800 block of S. Valley Mills Drive.

H-E-B also announced that they will be closing two older Waco area stores, one located at 1102 Speight Street and the other on 1110 S Valley Mills.

The new 121,000 sq.-ft. store will open its doors in the fall of 2013. It is scheduled to bring an additional 175 jobs.

H-E-B says the store is designed specifically for the Waco community. It will feature a brand new Flaming Bird Grill and an in-store dining experience with comfortable seating for 48 people, FREE Wi-Fi and a community hub space where community events and entertainment can be hosted.

Other highlights of the store include: a full-service meat market, full-service seafood department, full-service deli, cheese shop, bakery, pharmacy, floral, healthy living department, a cooking demonstration station, and an extensive beer and specialty wine section.

The store will also offer an extensive entertainment department, an outdoors department, a gas station and carwash, a kitchen dining department and large pet, beauty and baby departments.
