MILAM COUNTY -

Four people have been arrested and charged with burglary for attempting to steal two four-wheelers late Monday night. Milam County Sheriff's deputies were notified about a suspicious person off of County Road 446 that night.

Sheriff Greene, Chief Deputy Chris White and Lt. Mike Clore investigated the incident the next day, and discovered that the building had been burglarized multiple times by the same people.

Deputies say the suspects had taken tools and equipment from the building earlier in the day. The suspects later returned that night, and attempted to steal a Polaris four-wheeler and a John Deere Gator.

Deputies say the thieves abandoned the four-wheelers along the roadway and disappeared. Most of the stolen items were recovered and returned to the victim.

Marvin Cantwell Jr. Alyssa Brown, Crispin Gonzales Jr. and Cassandra Sanchez were arrested and charged with burglary. All four are now in Milam County Jail with bonds set at $7,500 each. Gonzales was arrested for an outstanding misdemeanor warrant out of Williamson County during his interview.
