KILLEEN -

Killeen police are trying to identify two males suspected of robbing a homeless man on April 2. Officers were sent to the 2100 block of S.W.S. Young Drive at 12:30 a.m. that morning.

Police say two black males were driving a white Chevrolet Cavalier with a black front bumper and a mismatched unknown color rear bumper. They got out of the vehicle and began speaking with the homeless man.

The two males then went inside the store, but when they came back out they stole the man's necklace. When the victim tried to get the necklace back, one of the suspects knocked him to the ground.

The suspects were last seen fleeing the scene south on W.S.Young Dr.

One of the suspects is described as a bald black male with a beard. He is believed to be 21 to 25 years old,  about five-foot-seven in height and weighing about 180 pounds.  He was last seen wearing a plaid shirt and blue shorts.

The second suspect is described as a 21-year-old black male who is five-foot-eight in height and weighs about 160 pounds.  He was last seen wearing a black shirt, gray sweatpants and a red skullcap.

Police say that if anyone knows the identities of the two suspects, they should contact Crime Stoppers at 254-526-TIPS or go online anonymously at www.bellcountycrimestoppers.com. If the information provided results into an arrest, they could be eligible for a reward up to $1,000 in cash.
