Police seize illegal weapons in motorcycle gang raid

Four members of a local motorcycle gang have been busted in an early morning raid at a trailer park in Valley Mills Tuesday.

Multiple law enforcement agencies including Valley Mills PD McLennan County deputies and a Woodway task force were involved in the raid at the misty valley mobile home park just after 6:00 a.m.

Investigators found nearly a dozen fully loaded weapons including an ak47, a sawed off shotgun and rifle.  They also found bottles of prescription drugs and other drug paraphernalia.

Three men and one woman, all believed to be a part of the bastards of the apocalypse motorcycle club, are now in the Bosque county jail for possession of illegal weapons.

The raid came after a two month long investigation into the motorcycle gang.

Valley Mills Police Chief Ricky Ray says, "The intelligence we had was that they were manufacturing and selling methamphetamine and marijuana; that's what started the investigation. Along the investigation we also found out that they were purchasing firearms and heavy caliber ammunition."

Law enforcement found nearly a dozen fully loaded weapons including a saw off shotgun and prescription drugs.

Authorities are classifying the club as a small motorcycle gang because it's believed there are less than 100 members.

Chief Ray says this gang isn't just in the Bosque county area and that law enforcement will continue to investigate them and more charges could be coming.
