BELLMEAD -
A man walking northbound on the southbound access road of Interstate 35 was hit by a woman in an SUV Friday afternoon. The incident happened across the highway from the H-E-B in Bellmead.
The southbound lane at mile marker 338 was closed temporarily as emergency personnel worked on the site of an accident.
Police say the incident is currently being investigated, and that the driver of the SUV has not been cited yet. Authorities also have not released a name or age of the victim.
