TEMPLE -
Temple police have arrested a man accused of injuring a child in February. The incident happened in the 3000 block of Antelope Trail on February 15.
Witnesses told Temple police that a child had been "disciplined" by a person known to the family. 27-year-old Markell Sharod Thomas is accused of leaving a large bruising on the child.
Responding officers saw the bruising on the child which was consistent with the allegations made by the family.
A warrant was issued for Thomas and he was arrested Wednesday.
