Waco police look for hit and run driver after postal worker gets hit

Officers are looking for a hit and run driver after a postal worker was injured on the 5100 block of Pine.

The accident happened before 2:30 p.m. Wednesday afternoon. Police say a white or cream colored Cadillac was driven by an elderly woman. Somehow the woman's car ran off the street and into the yard, clipping the postal worker.

The man hit the windshield and was thrown forward. The worker suffered cuts and bruises to his arms. He was taken to Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.

The woman did drive off. Officers say the windshield did have damage.

Police found the car believed to be involved in the incident at a residence nearby. No charges have been filed, and the exact location of the suspected vehicle has not been provided.
