MOODY -
A Central Texas man is arrested after he attacked another man with a baseball bat Monday afternoon. Matthew Seitz Kirby is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon for the incident at a rural home near Moody.
Sheriff's investigators say a new roommate was present in the home during the incident. He was also unaware that Kirby had just moved out and that he planned on coming back to retrieve some of his property.
When Kirby arrived, a confrontation developed, and Kirby is accused of hitting the victim in the head with a baseball bat. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening head injuries.
