BELLMEAD -
A Bellmead man has been arrested after breaking into his ex-wife's home late Sunday night. Officers received a disturbance call from a home in the 4600 block of Meyers Ln. just before midnight.
Police say 28-year-old Juan Carlos Longoria forced his way into the home. He was intoxicated at the time of the incident, and he demanded take his kids away.
The female victim and her boyfriend tried to get Longoria out of the home and called police. The female victim was struck in the face by Longoria during the incident.
When police arrived on the scene, they found Longoria and the victim's boyfriend fighting. Authorities separated the two men, and arrested Longoria for burglary of habitation.
The female victim was later taken to Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center for chest pains that were not caused during the physical altercation.
