Two Harker Heights teenagers were arrested Tuesday after they tried to flee from police following an afternoon burglary. 19-year-old Troy Anthony Marion and 18-year-old Tyree Dominque Brown are accused of stealing from a home in the 700 block of S. Amy Lane.
Harker Heights police were notified of a burglary in the area, and within an hour of the incident they found two suspects believed to be connected to the burglary. An officer working burglary patrol spotted Marion and Brown, and attempted to stop them.
Both suspects ran in opposite directions. Officers chased them down, and arrested one on Clore Rd. the other on Jorgette Dr. Police were also able to recover suspected stolen merchandise including jewelry and a computer.
Both suspects were charged with burglary of habitation and evading arrest. Marion was also charged with criminal trespassing.
