WACO -
A Waco has been taken to the hospital after he was stabbed by his girlfriend overnight.
Police were called to 4500 block of Lakeshore Drive for a possible stabbing incident. The initial report indicates a man had gone to visit his girlfriend who lived at the apartments, and the two had gotten into an argument.
The man begun punching his girlfriend in the face. The girlfriend then picked up a steak knife to defend herself and stabbed the man in the shoulder.
The man was taken to Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center for treatment, and the injury was not believed to be life threatening.
No charges have been filed at this time.
