A Hamilton grocery store suffered damage from Saturday night's storm.
David's Supermarket lost its roof when very high winds ripped through the area, according to the National Weather Service.
"It sounded so loud, like a huge explosion. Just right over the top of the building, it was insane," said Tinsley Sims, a store employee.
A line of sever storms rolled through the Central Texas area. Workers and shoppers at the grocery store were puzzled, wondering what happened.
"We we're just like freaking out. There was no way we wanted to be stuck inside. As soon as they said, you can go, we came out to our cars and saw the roof," said Sims.
The roof was lying on the side of the building. Another store employee described the scene as horrifying.
"I'm picked up and thrown on top of the meat counter right on the hams," said Steven Gividen, a store employee. "It was total darkness and I didn't know anybody else was alive."
Fortunately, everybody made it out OK, and there were no major injuries.
