Baylor students deliver signatures of support for campus carry legislation

WACO -

Baylor students and Michael Cargill of Central Texas Gun Works delivered signatures of support to Senator Brian Birdwell's Waco office on Thursday.

The signatures were in response to the recent anti-campus carry petition that was delivered to Birdwell's office signed by 120 Baylor professors.

The letter voices support for campus carry legislation and collected over 600 signatures from students, professors and constituents.

Baylor sophomore Brandon Waltens said, "They don't speak for all of Baylor and that there are so many Baylor faculties, staff, students and the Waco constituents who support the legislation."

Cargill has served as a Texas DPS certified concealed handgun license for over six years and has over 20 years of firearms experience.
