Authorities search for attempted child abduction suspect

The U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command is looking for a suspect that attempted to abduct a child on Fort Hood. The attempted abduction occurred on February 15 in the Kouma Village/Liberty Village area.

The suspect is described as a black male in his late 40s to early 50s. He approximately 5-foot-10 with an average build. Law enforcement say he might have a possible tattoo on the right side of his head.

The suspect was last seen driving a newer model, black four door sedan, possibly a Mercedes-Benz.

Anyone with information regarding this case should immediately contact the Fort Hood CID Office at (254) 287-2722 or (254) 715-6996. Citizens can also call the Fort Hood Military Police at (254) 287-4001.
