MART -

Two men have been arrested following an overnight drug raid in Mart. Police and McLennan County Sheriff's Deputies arrested Rodney Rutherford and Jesse Andrews for possession of narcotics.

Authorities were able to recover methamphetamines, marijuana, weapons and cash from two different locations Tuesday night.

A search warrant was obtained after police were able to find possible locations that drugs were being sold. After the first raid, police seized various items and were able to gather information that led to search warrants for a second location.

Mart Police Chief David Monthey said Rutherford and Andrews both made statements admitting to being involved in the sale of drugs. They were both booked into the McLennan County Jail.
