TEMPLE -
A Temple man has been arrested for a mid-February altercation that sent one person to the hospital. 34-year-old Charlie Richard Cook has been charged with assault causing bodily injury.
The incident occurred February 23 when officers were sent to a home in the 4100 block of W. Adams Ave. Officers met with the victim, who was suffering from a laceration to the head.
The victim told police that while attending a party, Cook became disorderly and damaged the interior of the home.
Cook was asked to leave the party, and then struck the victim in the head and threw the victim to the ground. The victim was treated for injuries at Scott and While Hospital.
Cook fled the scene and was arrested on Wednesday.
