ROBINSON -

Robinson police arrested three people for marijuana following a routine traffic stop made on Monday afternoon. The incident happened around Old Robinson Road and Meadowbrook, very near University High School.

Police stopped the vehicle because it had an expired inspection sticker and an obscured license plate. During the stop, police were also able to determine that one of the passengers had outstanding arrest warrants out of Waco.

A drug sniffing canine was called to the scene, which lead to the discovery of a backpack containing individually wrapped amounts of suspected marijuana. The drugs were sent to a lab for analysis, confirmation and weighing.

Kaylea Elizabeth Carter, Reginald Javaughn Hatfield and Johnny Lee Maxon-Billings were all charged with possession of marijuana. They were all taken to the McLennan County Jail.
