WACO -
A motorcyclist is dead after crashing into a steel fence in McLennan County on Saturday night. The accident happened around 6:15 p.m. at FM 308 and Beaver Lake Road in between Elm Mott and Leroy.
The victim, 40-year-old Jeffery Lee Henson, was on his 2010 Kawasaki motorcycle when he lost control on a turn on FM 308. The McLennan County Department of Public Safety says he was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
Henson was pronounced dead at the scene by Justice of the Peace David Pareya.
