WACO -
A local man on probation may be sent to prison after he stole a woman's purse late Thursday night. Edward William Ball is accused of stealing a woman's purse around 10:30 p.m. in the 600 block of N. 13th St.
The woman called police and follows Ball until he jumped over a fence. Responding officers found Ball in the 600 block of N. 14th St. and arrested him.
The 19-year-old Ball was found in possession of Zanax pills, and also had warrants for alcohol violation and had been on probation for possession of cocaine. He is now being held on motion to adjudicate guilt which would send him to prison off his probation.
