WACO -

A local man has been arrested after he is accused of taking a woman against her will in early February. Christopher Michael Sandoval faces kidnapping charges for the February 10th incident.

The incident occurred around 3 a.m. when Sandoval went to a home of the 31-year-old female victim at the 600 block of 9th St. Sandoval entered the house, and started pushing and pulling her hair.

He then picked her up and took her out of the house against her will. Someone tried to help the victim, but Sandoval over powered the witness and put the victim in her car against her will.

He then drove her to the China Spring area, and drove her around town for some time. He is accused of striking the victim and pulling her hair. At one point Sandoval, eventually pulled out a patch of hair from the victim's head.

The victim managed to get out of the car and yelled for help before Sandoval grabbed her and threw her on the ground. He took her cell phone when she tried to make an emergency call. When he finished assaulting her, he drove back to Waco, exited the vehicle, and left.

The victim drove to her brother's house, and they went to police. Officers obtained a warrant and the U.S. Marshal's Task Force found Sandoval late Wednesday night.
