WACO -
McLennan County and the Waco Independent School District are working on a land swap that will allow the Heart of Texas complex to expand and build new livestock stalls.
The deal will in return give the school district new soccer fields.
The land in question is at the north part of the fairgrounds running to the south end zone of Paul Tyson Field.
This land swap also involves the current soccer field. The county is planning to trade land on the north end of Tyson Field and build the new soccer fields.
