A man has been sentenced to 15 years in prison after robbing a Dollar General in Killeen. William Shane Hicks Jr. was convicted of robbing the store in the 1600 block of Fort Hood Street last June.
When police arrived at the scene, Hicks took off and led officers on a foot chase. He then went into an apartment in the 2300 block of Andover.
Hicks came out a few hours later and was arrested.
