Fire at Copperas Cove apartment complex completely destroys building

COPPERAS COVE -

An apartment complex building is completely destroyed after a fire erupted in Copperas Cove Monday afternoon. Fire crews were notified about the fire on Sunset Avenue just after 2:30 p.m.

Four floors of the building were completely damaged. The fire was contained to one building, but heavy smoke and strong winds caused a problem for fire crews.

All residents in the building were evacuated, and no one was hurt. Investigators are still looking into what caused the fire.
