A local man wanted for an incident on February 15 has finally been arrested. Joel Price McCord has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
The initial incident occurred at a home in the 3700 block of Leland Ave., where the suspect was visiting friends. The suspect then got into an argument with a 27-year-old female who was also there.
He is then accused of pulling a gun, pointing it at the female and pulling the trigger. The weapon failed to go off, and McCord fled the location.
Investigating officers obtained an arrest warrant for McCord, and arrested him at the Super 8 Motel on Saturday.
