Four units at a local apartment complex have been damaged after a late Sunday night fire.
Flames broke out at the Eagle Crest Apartments in Waco before midnight. Police received a call from a nearby bar, The Timeout Bar, where someone noticed the flames coming up from the building.
Firefighters were able to put out the fire, but four units were damaged. The building was evacuated, and the Red Cross were able to provide temporary housing for six people.
No one was hurt from the fire. Bellmead fire officials say the fire appears to have been accidental or unintentional. Smoking materials may have been involved.
