
WAXAHACHIE, Texas (AP) - Two minor earthquakes have caused small tremors, but no reported damage in North Texas.
The U.S. Geological Survey reports one earthquake at 4:35 a.m. Sunday about four miles north of Waxahachie, south of Dallas. That earthquake had a magnitude of 2.4.
The second occurred at 6:56 a.m., two miles south of nearby DeSoto. That was measured at a magnitude of 2.5.
A quake of magnitude 2.5 to 3 is typically the smallest that can be felt by people.
