Firefighters from Moody, Troy, Morgan's Point and Moffat were called to help battle a fire at a turkey barn at 9776 Community Center Road in Moody Thursday evening.
When they arrived on scene, two of the employees were fighting the fire from the outside. Once the first responders were able to get inside, the fire was quickly put out.
The Moody Fire Chief said there was minimal damage to the barn and they expect it to be up and running again in a few days. He also said the cause of the fire is likely electrical.
Both of the employees were taken to Scott and White to be checked out. One of them might have suffered from smoke inhalation.
