UPDATE: Highway has been re-opened. Traffic should be up to normal speed soon.
A wreck has closed all southbound lanes of Interstate 35 near mile marker 305 in Temple.
A semi-tractor trailer lost its load, a half of a pre-manufactured home, while traveling south on Interstate 35. Texas Department of Transportation says all lanes have been closed.
Traffic is currently backed up about 3.5 miles into Troy, and is being routed onto the access road at exit 306. TxDOT says the highway should be cleared in about an hour.
Drivers are being advised to take alternate routes.
