Endodontist Dr. Kris Olsen to Join Racine Dental Group

RACINE, Wis., Feb. 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Racine Dental Group is expanding their services and welcoming an endodontic specialist to the practice. As an endodontist, Kris Olsen D.D.S., M.S., will be responsible for treating diseases of the tooth pulp (the inside of the tooth). The most common treatments revolve around root canal therapy. He will join Racine Dental Group in early March.

Dr. Kris Olsen received his doctorate in dental surgery at Emory University in Atlanta, GA, and received his endodontic certification and master's of science degree at Marquette University. He is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Marquette University School of Dentistry and a member of the American Association of Endodontists, Wisconsin Association of Endodontists, Edgar D. Coolidge Endodontic Study Club, American Dental Association, Wisconsin Dental Association, Greater Milwaukee Dental Association, International Association of Dental Research and the American Association for Dental Research.

Racine Dental Group announced at the end of 2012 that they will be opening a new facility in 2014 to address inefficiencies in their nearly 45-year old building. They are known for offering comprehensive dental services, under one roof. Racine Dental Group currently has eleven general dentists, two oral surgeons, three pediatric dentists, and one periodontist. Dr. Olsen will be the first endodontist on staff.
