WACO -
A McLennan County Jury convicted a Waco man of sexually abusing a child in March of 2011.
Jose Antonio Garcia Martinez was sentenced to life in prison with no parole for continuous sexual abuse of a child and an additional 20 years in prison for indecency with a child by contact.
The jury said Martinez must serve the terms consecutively.
In 2011, Martinez molested a young girl at a north Waco home several times. The girl told someone at her school of the incidents, and then informed the police.
