One man convicted of deadly conduct in a 2012 drive-by shooting has been sentenced to probation. Ulises Humberto Cavazos received two years deferred adjudication probation and a $500 fine.
In January of 2012, a black Ford F-150 pickup truck stopped in front of a home in the 2000 block of Gurley Avenue at 3:00 a.m. Police say the driver of the truck had fired several rounds with a handgun toward the house.
One round hit a resident's truck parked in the driveway. The suspects then fled the scene.
Police later found the suspected vehicle and arrested Mario Martinez and Cavazos for deadly conduct when the handgun was found in the suspect's vehicle.
