Baylor to conduct study examining Boy Scout programs

Baylor University's Institute for Studies of Religion plans to launch a study to examine how Boy Scout programs affect their members and society.

The three-year study will be launched in September with Tufts University's Institute for Applied Research in Youth Development.

They will evaluate an innovative Boy Scouts of America program that incorporates full-time executives to assist Scout troops by training the leaders, recruiting and retaining youths, and fund raising.
