WACO -
A local man is accused of attempting to sexually assault a woman late Saturday night.
The incident occurred about 10:30 p.m. at a North Waco apartment. Johnny Gayton Garcia and another woman had gone to the apartment to visit.
The female victim was taking a shower, when Garcia is accused of pulling the woman out of the shower and throwing her down. Another person at the apartment pulled Garcia off the victim, separated the two and called police.
Garcia was still in the apartment when police arrived and was taken into custody without incident. He faces attempted sexual assault charges.
