UMHB Men's Basketball Receiving Votes In Poll

UMHB MEN'S BASKETBALL RECEIVING VOTES IN D3HOOPS.COM TOP 25 POLL

Belton, TX – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men's basketball is receiving votes in this week's D3hoops.com Top 25 Poll. The UMHB men are receiving votes for the THIRD straight week and totaled 18 points in the poll this week, a jump from the 16 total points received in last week's ranking. The Cru is the only American Southwest Conference program mentioned in this week's Top 25. St. Thomas (MN) is ranked #1 with all 25 first place votes and 625 total points.

 The Cru men are currently 20-3 on the season and have a 16-1 record in ASC play after sweeping home games from Schreiner University and Texas Lutheran University last week. The UMHB men have won 11 straight games and return to action with a 7:30 PM tip for a home game against Howard Payne University Thursday night at the Mayborn Campus Center.

 The D3hoops.com Top 25 Poll is voted on a panel of 25 coaches, Sports Information Directors and media members from across the country.

    Baylor women’s golf earned one of eight berths in the 2017 NCAA Championships match play by finishing in seventh place in the stroke play portion of the Championships at Rich Harvest Farms.     Baylor baseball freshman catcher Shea Langeliers was named Big 12 Newcomer of the Week for the second straight week, the league office announced Monday. The Keller, Texas native is the first Baylor freshman to garner the rookie honor twice in a season and is the first two receive a Big 12 weekly accolade in back-to-back weeks since Josh Ludy on April 16 and April 23 in 2012.
