UMHB Men's Basketball Receiving Votes In Poll

UMHB MEN'S BASKETBALL RECEIVING VOTES IN D3HOOPS.COM TOP 25 POLL

Belton, TX – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men's basketball is receiving votes in this week's D3hoops.com Top 25 Poll. The UMHB men are receiving votes for the THIRD straight week and totaled 18 points in the poll this week, a jump from the 16 total points received in last week's ranking. The Cru is the only American Southwest Conference program mentioned in this week's Top 25. St. Thomas (MN) is ranked #1 with all 25 first place votes and 625 total points.

 The Cru men are currently 20-3 on the season and have a 16-1 record in ASC play after sweeping home games from Schreiner University and Texas Lutheran University last week. The UMHB men have won 11 straight games and return to action with a 7:30 PM tip for a home game against Howard Payne University Thursday night at the Mayborn Campus Center.

 The D3hoops.com Top 25 Poll is voted on a panel of 25 coaches, Sports Information Directors and media members from across the country.

    Baylor men’s tennis has been named an ITA All-Academic Team for the 10th consecutive year, announced by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Tuesday. The organization also named Jimmy Bendeck, Luke De Jong, Will Little, Bjoern Petersen and Tyler Stayer as ITA Scholar-Athletes. Dating back to the 2008 season, Baylor has been recognized each year as a team and had at least two players recognized by the organization.     The Baylor women’s tennis program was recognized for its academic accomplishments by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) this week. Baylor is one of 195 women’s tennis teams to garner a 2017 ITA All-Academic Team award, which recognizes programs that maintain a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.20 or higher throughout the year.
