WACO -
Baylor University honored Drayton McLane Jr. during its Founders' Day ceremony. He received the Founders Medallion, one of the most distinguished awards given by the university.
It recognizes men and women significant to the life and future of Baylor University.
Baylor President Ken Starr called McLane, who is a Baylor graduate and Regent Emeritus, a visionary willing to sacrifice to accomplish what needs to be done.
As philanthropists, the McLane family has given much financial support to Baylor. Perhaps none greater than the lead gift for Baylor Stadium, the largest capital gift in Baylor history.
