A Waco man has been sentenced to five years probation and 30 days in jail for attacking his father with a metal pipe.
Rick Carlos Carbajal was sentenced Monday in the 19th District Court for an incident that occurred in February of 2012.
Carbajal was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after he got into a fight with his father at their home.
Police say Carbajal grabbed a pipe and started beating his father on his head and body. Carbajal's father was left with "significant injuries" after the incident.
