CORYELL COUNTY -
A Coryell County man is behind bars after an overnight standoff. The incident occurred Thursday on County Road and lasted until Friday afternoon when 40-year-old David Ray Sneed was eventually arrested.
The Sheriff's Office was called to the home by CPS about a family violence incident. Sneed's 14 year-old daughter called the deputies alleging that her father had assaulted her and pointed a gun at her.
When deputies arrived on scene Sneed allegedly fired numerous shots on them.
He is now in the Coryell County Jail and faces multiple charges including family violence and aggravated assault on a public servant.
