Flowers, memorabilia removed from Rosemound Cemetery

Family members were shocked when they came to visit their loved ones at Rosemound Cemetery on Friday.

The cemetery on 12th Street in Waco was cleaned up--everything tossed in the garbage or left in piles scattered around.

Rosemound posted a sign at the main gate to warn lot owners, they are going to be removing Christmas arrangement and old, faded flowers.

"You come through the gate, there's nothing here, no flowers, no momentous," said family members.

Lot owners tried to get answers from the supervisor, but there wasn't a clear response on what was going on.

New, revised rules were made in August of 2012 and nobody was informed about them.

"We weren't told about the rules. I think he knew he was going to do this and he printed up these rules and did all this," said Sandera January.

News Channel 25 tried numerous times to reach out to the cemetery supervisor, but wasn't able to contact anyone.
