Baylor University Board of Regents announced Friday a $100 million fundraising campaign to build a new business school building.
The 275-thousand square foot building will expand the school's size by nearly 40 percent.
Regents saw at their February meeting designs for the new business school which will include a centerpiece atrium, a 350-seat auditorium and a variety of classroom spaces that will fully incorporate the latest technology.
Chairman of the Baylor Board of Regents, Richard Willis, said, "At levels we have never approached before, we are witnessing record numbers of donors coming forward to provide gifts both large and small to advance some of the most important and exciting projects in University history."
The regents also approved two other projects: a $12 million refurbishment of South Russell Hall and a $1.75 million build-out at the Baylor Research and Innovation Collaborative
