Copperas Cove man arrested for May robbery

Posted:
KILLEEN -

Killeen police have arrested a Copperas Cove man connected to a May 2012 robbery and assault of a female visitor. William Evrette Razor has been charged with robbery for the incident.

Killeen police responded to the incident at the intersection of Attas and North 16th at 5 a.m. When they arrived, they found the female victim covered in blood.

She told police she had been visiting Killeen and did not know the city. She said she had met Razor a couple hours earlier that morning, and that he had attacked, beat and sexually assaulted her. Before he left he robbed her, and left her by the street.

Investigators eventually were able to identify the suspect, and obtained an arrest warrant. Razor was arrested Thursday at a shopping center in Copperas Cove, and has only been charged with robbery.

He is in Bell County Jail and his bond has been set at $500,000.
