A 25-year-old Waco man has been arrested on robbery charges for allegedly using violence and threats to prevent his car from being repossessed.
Waco police say the incident happened back in November 14, 2012 near the intersection of Turner and Harlem Street. The vehicle was hooked up on the wrecker prepared to be towed off when Joshua Marques Willis is accused of running out and trying to get the vehicle off the wrecker.
Willis then jumped into the wrecker cab and assaulted the driver by punching him the face and biting him. Willis yelled to a friend to get a gun, at which point the wrecker driver surrendered the vehicle.
After an investigation, Police obtained a warrant and arrested Willis on Tuesday and transported to the McLennan County jail.
