December 2012 convenience store robber sentenced to 15 years

WACO, TX (KXXV) - UPDATE: Marvin Jerome Parr was sentenced to 15 years in prison for a December 2012 convenience store robbery.

Parr was sentenced in 19th District Court. He was sentenced to 15 years in prison on the robbery charge, and 24 months in state jail on a separate possession of cocaine charge, which will be served concurrently.
Waco police have arrested one of the men who robbed a female employee at a Cefco in December. 30-year-old Marvin Jerome Parr was arrested for aggravated robbery in his Bellmead home Wednesday morning.

The robbery occurred  at the convenience store on the 2000 block of N. Valley Mills Dr., when two men approached an employee who was walking to her car.

The employee was on her way to make a bank deposit when one of the suspects struck her and took the bank bag she was carrying, and then fled on foot.

The second suspect has not been identified.
