A 60-year-old Temple man accused sex assaulting an underage victim has been arrested. Temple police arrested Emmitt Lawrence McNeil on a warrant Tuesday.
In December, officers were called out to the 100 block of North 7th Street about an incident between McNeil and an underage victim. The victim reported performing sexual acts with the suspect to police.
The victim told police the incidents had happened more than once.
The case is under investigation, and McNeil is being held at the Bell County Jail on $50,000 bond.
