Companies Revving Up Business Development According to FlexJobs' Index

The monthly hiring report from the popular job site for finding flexible work options shows a jump in jobs that involve sales and commission only positions.

Companies appear ready to invest in creating more business as the Flexible Job Index (FJI) for January 2013 demonstrates a dramatic increase in Business Development jobs, in addition to Commission Only jobs.

The job categories that topped the list for highest jumps in open positions from December to January include:

“As far as marketing overall, it appears companies hit the ground running in January,” stated Fell. “It will be great to see what these hiring increases lead to in terms of the economy.”

3. Administrative
4. Sales
5. Education & Training
