A suspect involved in a Friday morning robbery at a local convenience store is still on the loose. The incident occurred at 8:51 a.m. at the Cefco located on the 4400 block of Lake Shore.
An employee at the convenience store says a white man in a black hoodie and jeans approached her while she was sitting in her car. The suspect had a pistol and demanded money.
The employee handed him money an undisclosed amount of cash, and fled the scene in a silver and brown Chevy pickup truck.
