The Temple Police Department has recovered the missing piglet statue from Oak Creek Park. One of three bronze pig statues was reported missing last Tuesday.
Temple Parks and Leisure Services say that no one had permission to remove the statue from the park. The statue has an estimate value of $800.
The investigation into the theft is still on-going, and additional details of the theft weren't released at this time. The statue will be returned to Oak Creek Park after the criminal investigation is over.
