Two men have been arrested after a woman told police that they held her captive Tuesday night. The incident began when the woman and the two man had been partying at a home in the 200 block of Old Bethany Road near Lorena.
Police say the three people involved had an argument that led to the woman wanting to leave the party. As the woman tried to leave the men put her in a bedroom and boarded it up.
Deputies say on Wednesday morning the woman convinced the men she needed to get out of the room and wanted to be taken on a drive. The two men put her in a van and drove off until they ran out of gas.
As one of the men went to get more gas for the vehicle, the woman was able to escape and call authorities for help.
Lorena police were able to arrest and charge Shawn Wesley Gentry and Jacob Gutierrez with unlawful restraint. Gutierrez was also charged with assault by strangulation.
