Homeless man accused of sexual assault found not guilty

A homeless man accused of sexual assault in 2011 has been found not guilty on Wednesday.

Jeffrey Glenn Bolton was in the 54th District Court accused of sexually assaulting a local woman in her early 30s at Clay Park at about 3:30 p.m. on December 29, 2011. The woman reported the offense to police, and she was able to identify Bolton as someone she knew.

Police obtained a warrant for his arrest, and he was picked up by Austin police on January 12, 2012. Bolton was then brought back to Waco to face his charges.
