CHICAGO -
U.S. Senator Ted Cruz sent a letter to the banks targeted by Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel regarding their business dealings with American firearm companies.
Cruz has invited Bank of America, TD Bank, and gun companies Smith and Wesson, and Sturm, Roger and Company to bring their business to the state of Texas.
This comes after Chicago Mayor Emanuel sent letters threatening those banks to cease doing business with gun makers.
He argues that Emanuel's attack on legitimate gun manufacturers undermines the second amendment rights of Texans. Cruz also sent a copy of the letter to the mayor.
