Temple police search for aggravated robbery suspect

The Temple Police Department is investigating another robbery at a local fast food restaurant. Officers were called the Smashburger in the 3000 block of south 31st Street in Temple around 8:30 a.m. Sunday morning.

The employee told officers that while he was taking out the trash, the suspect grabbed him from behind and demanded money.

The employee then head butted the suspect with the back with his head and the man released him. The victim received a minor injury to the chest during the incident.

The suspect fled from the scene and officers haven't been able to find him yet.

Police are searching for a white male, who was last seen in dark jeans and a black mask. If anyone has information about the suspect, call Temple police at 254-298-5500.
